The new change (via XDA Developers) means that after January 1, the OneDrive application will no longer be available for download, and devices running a retired version of Windows will no longer sync files to the cloud after March 1, 2022. ![]() Microsoft is ending support for its OneDrive desktop sync application on January 1, 2022, for devices still running Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 8. Once the support ends content will still be accessible from the web.The app will still sync files until March 1, 2022.OneDrive app for Windows 8.1, 8, and 7 to end support in 2022.
